1. At junction 40 on the M6 at Penrith, exit onto A66
2. Follow signs for Keswick
3. Continue on A66
4. After approximately 15 miles look for large tourist sign for Burns Farm Caravan and Camp site
5. Take the left turning and follow the road for about 1/2 mile
6. Park on Road be-side Farm buildings
7. Reception will be on your left at the Farm House

Or take the Scenic route:

1. Head North on M6
2. At junction 36, exit onto A590 towards Barrow/Kendal/A591
3. Continue onto A591 (signs for Windermere/A591/Kendal/A6)
4. Turn left at A591/Wansfell Rd
5. Turn right at A591/Rothay Rd
6. Turn left at A591/Compston Rd
7. Continue to follow A591
8. Turn right at B5322 (signs for St. Johns-in-the-Vale)
9. Follow the windy road through the valley of St-Johns
10. After approximately 4 miles you will come to an old white sign post, it has 3 small signs on it, (Keswick 4 mile, Diocesan Youth Centre and St Johns in the Vale Church), take this left turning
11. Continue on the narrow windy road for about 1 mile until you come to a T junction, signed Keswick Left and Penrith Right
12. Go Penrith right
13. Continue for quarter of a mile
14. Burns Farm caravan site on the Left, continue to Reception at Farm House on the Right

Best drive:
The scenic A591 which stretches 21 miles between Windermere and Keswick takes in no less than six lakes - Windermere, Rydal, Grasmere, Thirlmere, Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake.
